DR ABHISHEK PRADHAN DDS
Abbi as he is fondly addressed by friends, family, patients and co-workers is continuing a proud family tradition as the second dentist in his family, following in the footsteps of his father who shares his passion for dentistry. Inspired by his family’s legacy and the meaningful impact his father has had on the community, Abbi recognized the incredible gift of service that dentistry offers from a young age. With a lifelong passion for artistry and a keen eye for detail, Dr. Abbi seamlessly blends the worlds of medicine and design.
Abbi pursued his undergraduate studies at Mumbai University in India, where he earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree. He then furthered his education at Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Dentistry, where he honed his skills and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
During his time at Dalhousie, Abbi discovered a passion for esthetic and restorative dentistry. He excelled in courses related to crown, bridge, and implant prostheses, laying the foundation for his career focus. On completing his graduation, he worked in rural Saskatchewan and Manitoba imparting much-needed dental care to underserved communities before moving back to Kingston, Ontario to join his young family. After practising in Ontario he decided to settle in BC where he met another legendary dental practitioner, Dr Randall Pewarchuk who shared his commitment to exceptional care with a focus on patient satisfaction and helped him to seamlessly take over his dental practice of over 25 years.
Committed to lifelong learning and professional development, Abbi actively participates in local monthly study clubs, including those such as the Victoria Dental Society and other professional networks. Abhishek Pradhan is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality dental care to his patients, combining his expertise with a compassionate approach. His goal is to continue his family’s legacy of exceptional service and build lasting relationships with patients based on trust and integrity.
